Iconic popstar Madonna has been forced to postpone her highly anticipated world tour due to unforeseen circumstances. The 64-year-old artist was recently admitted to a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after being diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection, which her manager, Guy Oseary, described as “serious.” Madonna required an extended stay in the ICU, but her management remains optimistic about her recovery, stating that she is expected to make a full comeback.
While Madonna’s health is steadily improving, she continues to receive ongoing medical care and attention. The singer, known for her groundbreaking music and captivating performances, had been preparing to embark on an 84-date tour next month. The tour was intended to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her breakout single, “Holiday,” and would have marked her return to arenas and stadiums after her experimental and highly acclaimed Madame X shows in 2019 and 2020.
