Arena Combat Sports Promotions is gearing up for an exhilarating return on Saturday, June 15, at the Montekriskto Open Air Arena. The event promises to be a spectacular showcase of athletic prowess, featuring around fifty athletes from twenty-five clubs, both local and international.
Competitors from Italy, Wales, England, Sicily, Spain, Morocco, Germany, Serbia, and Romania will participate, competing in categories such as Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and K1 rules. The highlight of the event includes twelve title fights for both the WKA International and the promotion’s own championship belts.
The event is sanctioned by WKA International World President David Sawyer, ensuring all fights are conducted under the strict regulations of the WKA International framework.
In an interview on Radio 105, Lydon Xuereb, who is set to face the highly anticipated match against Briton Danny Worsfold, shared insights into his rigorous preparation. Xuereb mentioned that his training regimen began several weeks prior and includes not only intensive training sessions but also a specialized diet.
Event organizer Simon Chetcuti emphasized the extensive effort required to host such an event, highlighting that every athlete must be properly licensed.
