Four-Year-Old Boy Passes Away After Incident in Marsaxlokk

The tragic death of a four-year-old boy has been announced after he experienced difficulties in a private swimming pool in Marsaxlokk.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 11:45 AM (a quarter to noon) at a residence situated on Triq il-Port Ruman.

In an official statement, the Malta Police Force confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that the young boy unfortunately lost his life at Mater Dei Hospital during the past few hours despite medical efforts.

To determine the exact circumstances surrounding the tragedy, a Magisterial inquiry has been officially opened. Authorities are continuing to look into the details of the case.
