In a prestigious event held on Saturday evening, broadcast live on TVMsport+ and the Malta Sports Journalists Association’s Facebook page, Ħamrun Ħanin was awarded the Sport for Social Change Award.
Ħamrun Ħanin, a philanthropic initiative by Ħamrun Spartans Football Club, collaborated with the Autism Parents Association to launch an extensive campaign aimed at raising awareness about autism. Their efforts focused on reducing stigma, fostering inclusivity, and promoting a more supportive society for individuals on the autism spectrum.
The award was presented to Mr. Ian Debattista, Chairman of Ħamrun Ħanin, in recognition of the initiative’s impact on social change through sports.
