Early morning commuters in Birkirkara faced unexpected delays today following a heavy vehicle incident. At approximately 6:30 am, a truck transporting a large load of gravel overturned on the busy Naxxar Road.
The Scene of the Incident The accident took place near a local bathroom showroom. Photos from the scene show the large commercial truck lying entirely on its side. As a result of the rollover, a substantial amount of the gravel it was carrying spilled out, covering the roadway and obstructing the path for other vehicles.
