A 12-year-old boy is suffering from serious injuries following a Saturday late-evening collision between an e-scooter and a public transport bus.
The accident took place at approximately 7:30 PM in Triq Sant’ Anna, Floriana. Initial police investigations suggest the young boy was riding an e-scooter when the incident occurred involving an Otokar Vectio bus.
Emergency Medical Response
The bus was driven by a 34-year-old Indian national, a resident of Msida. Following the crash, a medical assistance team was dispatched to the scene immediately. The child was treated on-site before being rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
Medical professionals have since certified the 12-year-old’s injuries as serious.
