The Mużika Mużika Festival 2023 has concluded its third edition with a bang, delivering three nights of unforgettable Maltese music. The festival attracted approximately 300,000 viewers over three evenings and had a live audience of around 6,500 people in the hall.

During the finals on Saturday, March 25th, the crowd waited eagerly to learn the results. In the end, the song “SABIĦA” performed by Gianluca Bezzina, with music by Philip Vella and lyrics by Joe Julian Farrugia, emerged as the winner of the festival. The song’s infectious tune and moving lyrics struck a chord with the audience, earning it the top honors.

The song “JEKK MHUX INT” performed by Drakard and Lisa Gauci, with lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and composition by Cyprian Cassar, secured second place, while “M’HAWNX BHALEK” performed by Jasmine Abela, with lyrics by Philip Vella and music by Glen Vella, took third place.

The festival also recognized outstanding musical talent, with Maestro Ryan Paul Abela winning Best Musical Arrangement and Jasmine Abela receiving Best Interpretation.

The third edition of the Mużika Mużika Festival 2023 was a spectacular success, showcasing the diversity and beauty of Maltese music. Congratulations to Gianluca Bezzina and all the other talented performers for their exceptional performances and contributions to this year’s festival.
