Real Madrid secured their place in the Copa del Rey final with a stunning 4 -1 win over Barcelona at the Nou Camp, thanks to a second-half hat-trick from Karim Benzema. The visitors went into the game 1-0 down on aggregate but Vinicius Jr’s strike in first-half stoppage time leveled the tie, and Benzema took over in the second half. The French striker scored twice in the opening 10 minutes after the break, including one from the penalty spot, to put Madrid in control. Benzema completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute, capping off a devastating performance from Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Real Madrid will now face Osasuna in the final on May 6th. It was Benzema’s second hat-trick in consecutive games, following his heroics against Real Valladolid last Sunday.
