Bulgarian midfielder Yuliynan Nenov has made a notable transfer to Ħamrun Spartans Football Club, the reigning champions of Malta. The 28-year-old midfielder began his professional journey at CSKA Sofia, where he joined their youth system in 2003. Despite his efforts, Nenov was unable to secure a spot in the first team and subsequently embarked on loan spells at Chavdar Etropole, Botev Vratsa, Montana, and Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa. However, it was in June 2015 when he finally made a permanent move to Dunav Ruse.
During his inaugural season with Dunav, Nenov showcased his talent by netting 8 goals in the league, greatly contributing to the team’s promotion to the First League. This achievement marked a significant milestone in his career. Subsequently, on May 31, 2018, Nenov signed a two-year contract with Botev Vratsa, a newly promoted Bulgarian First League club. After a period in Morocco, he joined Beroe Stara Zagora as a free agent in May 2019. Most recently, he has secured a deal with Ħamrun Spartans, further progressing in his football journey.
