Jake Vella, a name synonymous with determination and resilience, has sadly passed away at the tender age of 15.
For the past year and nine months, Jake had been receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital due to a rare medical condition known as ROHHAD (Rapid-onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation, and Autonomic Dysregulation). Despite the numerous health challenges he faced, Jake never lost his fighting spirit. He continued to inspire many through his unwavering dedication to his campaigns and athletic pursuits.
Jake’s memory lives on, with countless tributes pouring in on social media, honoring the legacy of a young boy who touched the hearts of so many.
