Ħamrun Spartans remained active until the very last moments of the January transfer window, securing two important signings to strengthen their squad. As announced by the club’s CEO, Mr. Marcel Bonnici, during his appearance on the radio show ‘Mid-Dinja Ħamrun’ on Radio 105, the Maltese champions successfully acquired Croatian midfielder Mihael Klepac. With a strong profile and an impressive track record, Klepac’s arrival is seen as a positive addition to the local football scene.
Many believed that Ħamrun Spartans had concluded their transfer activity after signing Klepac. However, in the final minutes before the window closed, the Spartans confirmed yet another acquisition. This time, they secured the services of former Albania Under-21 international, Redon Mihana.
During his interview on ‘Mid-Dinja Ħamrun,’ Marcel Bonnici emphasized that this has been the best transfer window since the current administration took charge of the club. He reiterated that the primary goal for Ħamrun Spartans is to win every match and secure a place in the playoffs, maintaining their strong contention for the league title.
