Bonnie Blue has sparked widespread conversation after she set a controversial world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in just 12 hours. The OnlyFans model expressed pride in her achievement, calling it a “crazy accomplishment.” However, not everyone is celebrating, as a psychosexual therapist has raised serious concerns about the mental and physical impact of such a stunt.
In an interview with The Mirror, psychosexual therapist Natasha Silverman discussed the potentially harmful effects of this extreme challenge. She emphasized that it’s “unusual” for women to sustain pleasurable sexual arousal for such an extended period.
“Having sex when no longer ‘turned on’ can be psychologically and physically painful and distressing,” Silverman explained. “It increases the risk of sexual interactions becoming traumatic. Even with proper stimulation, prolonged sexual activity can lead to pain, tears, internal trauma, or at the very least, significant discomfort.”
Silverman suggested that Bonnie may have used a psychological coping mechanism called “disassociation” to endure the challenge. This technique involves disconnecting from one’s body to avoid emotional distress.
Despite the concerns raised, the 25-year-old claimed she felt fine afterward, stating, “It just feels like I’ve had a heavy day in the bedroom – which is exactly what I had.”
Another major concern highlighted by the therapist was the heightened risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Bonnie, however, dismissed these worries in a YouTube video documenting the experience. When asked if she was concerned about STDs, she responded confidently, “No, I get regularly STD tested all the time.” She also stressed the importance of condom use, though she revealed that the first participant in her challenge did not follow that guideline.
While Bonnie’s record has certainly captured attention, the stunt has reignited debates about the boundaries of extreme challenges and the potential risks they pose to both physical and mental health.
