Gozo bid a final farewell to the victim of the recent Hamrun tragedy

The Gozo community bid a final farewell to Rima Said, who was laid to rest in a solemn and emotional funeral ceremony at the parish church of Nadur. Family, friends, and members of the community came together to mourn her untimely passing and honor her memory.

The tragic incident that claimed Rima’s life sent shockwaves throughout the community. On March 13th, she fell from the roof of her Hamrun residence, in what is believed to have been a desperate attempt to enter her home after being locked out. The fall from a height of three floors proved fatal, leaving the community devastated.

Despite the tragedy, Rima’s life and memory were celebrated during the funeral service. Loved ones remembered her as a kind and sympathetic soul, a devoted mother to her 7-year-old son. The outpouring of love and support for Rima and her family served as a reminder of the incredible strength and resilience of the human spirit.
