Two individuals were rushed to Mater Dei Hospital this morning following a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Marsaskala. The accident occurred at approximately 10:00 AM on Triq id-Daħla ta’ San Tumas.
Details of the Incident
Preliminary police investigations indicate that the crash involved a car driven by a 21-year-old male from Birkirkara and a motorcycle operated by a 54-year-old man from Marsaskala.
A medical team and an ambulance arrived on the scene shortly after the report. Both the motorcyclist and his passenger, a 48-year-old woman also from Marsaskala, required immediate medical attention and were transported to the hospital.
Condition of the Victims
Medical professionals at Mater Dei Hospital later certified that both the driver and the passenger of the motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
