Renowned actor Ray Stevenson, known for his roles in major TV shows such as Rome, Vikings, and Dexter, sadly passed away at the age of 58.

Stevenson gained recognition for his performances in the Thor films and the Divergent series, as well as his appearances in several UK TV shows including Band of Gold, Peak Practice, and Murphy’s Law.

The news of his death was confirmed by his US-based publicist firm, Viewpoint, to the media, although no further details were provided.

The cause of his death has not been revealed, but reports suggest that he was hospitalized while filming on the Italian island of Ischia.

At the time of his passing, he was working on an action movie called Cassino in Ischia.

His death was announced four days before his 59th birthday, adding to the sadness surrounding his loss.
