A 30-year-old woman is in custody facing attempted murder charges following a terrifying shooting incident at the Los Angeles residence of global superstar Rihanna.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Officials report that between five and seven shots were fired at the property. While the bullets struck the exterior gate of the estate, the house itself was not hit, and no injuries were reported.
Suspect Identified and Charged
The LAPD confirmed that while there were individuals inside the home at the time of the gunfire, everyone remained unharmed. Following a brief investigation at the scene, police located a suspect nearby.
On Monday, a spokesperson for the LAPD identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz. Ortiz has been officially charged with attempted murder and is currently being held on a $10.2 million bail.

This incident marks the latest in a series of security scares for high-profile celebrities in the Hollywood Hills and surrounding Los Angeles neighborhoods.
