Switzerland took a substantial lead early on, amassing 365 points from the 37 participating juries and receiving the top ‘douze points’ 22 times out of a possible 36. This initial advantage placed them 147 points ahead of their closest competitor, France, who had 218 points at that stage. The public’s additional 226 points to Switzerland confirmed Nemo’s lead, cementing ‘The Code’ as the contest’s 68th winner.
