- 5 grams fresh ginger, grated
For Stir-Frying Beef:
- 30 milliliters vegetable oil
For the Stir-Fry Sauce:
- 60 milliliters soy sauce
- 30 grams hoisin sauce
- 30 grams brown sugar
- 15 milliliters rice vinegar
- 5 milliliters sesame oil
For the Noodles:

For Stir-Frying Vegetables:
- 30 milliliters vegetable oil
- 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 medium yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
For Garnish:
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Prepare the Beef: Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with 30 milliliters of soy sauce, 8 grams of cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Ensure the beef is well coated and allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the Stir-Fry Sauce: In a separate small bowl, whisk together 60 milliliters of soy sauce, 30 grams of hoisin sauce, 30 grams of brown sugar, 15 milliliters of rice vinegar, and 5 milliliters of sesame oil until the brown sugar is fully dissolved. Set the sauce aside.
- Cook the Ramen Noodles: Cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain the noodles thoroughly and set aside.
- Sear the Beef: Heat 30 milliliters of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the cooked beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Vegetables: Add another 30 milliliters of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the sliced red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Combine and Finish: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the stir-fried vegetables. Pour the prepared stir-fry sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to ensure everything is evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to heat through and slightly thicken.
- Assemble and Serve: Divide the cooked ramen noodles evenly into serving bowls. Spoon the Mongolian beef and vegetable mixture generously over the noodles. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
