Two men were hospitalized with serious injuries early Sunday morning following a violent collision between two vehicles in Siġġiewi.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 AM on Triq Mons. Mikiel Azzopardi. According to initial police reports, the crash involved an Audi A3 Sport and a Mazda 2.

The Audi was being driven by a 36-year-old man from Siġġiewi, while the Mazda was operated by a 19-year-old youth residing in Ħaż-Żebbuġ. The impact was significant enough to require immediate medical intervention at the scene.
Medical Condition and Investigation
A medical team arrived shortly after the collision, and both drivers were transported via ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. Medical professionals later certified that both individuals sustained grievous injuries.
